The new Record Single Sliding door entrance
Having used AGS Tech's Automatic Swing motors on many of their doors, Wigan and Leigh Homes were looking for something different on this site. The existing wooden doors had been swelling and warping for many years and were now becoming a security issue. After consultation with AGS Tech, Andy Miles embraced the concept of the Sliding door sets both for practicality and for site aesthetics.
We organised the project from start to finish, including removing and disposing of the original door set, provision of Fire Alarm link, Mains supply, modifying the suspended ceiling. The door was designed, installed and commissioned in line with the required British Standards to which all our engineers are trained and certified. The sliding door set as manufactured by Record UK has met all of Andrews expectations and exceeded them. The site management and site residents were also delighted with the new doors with one resident declaring "these doors are the best thing Wigan and Leigh Homes have ever spent money on."
